Scoreboard
- Ouxi GT20: 2 round(s)
- V40 Pro: 2 round(s)
- Ties: 1
On paper, the two are nearly twins: 1,000 W motor, fat tires, a long seat, NFC and an alarm. In practice, one has more punch off the line, the other goes farther on a charge, and a height detail can take one of them off your list before you even look at the price.

Round 1: Speed and power
Winner: Ouxi GT20
Both leave locked at 32 km/h and can be unlocked: the V40 Pro reaches about 48 km/h and the GT20 listing says up to 50 km/h. On power, the GT20 stands out: an owner who has two other e-bikes wrote that it has a lot of torque by comparison. The V40 Pro doesn't struggle either: an 80 kg owner in a hilly area says it climbs everything effortlessly.
Round 2: Range
Winner: V40 Pro
The V40 Pro's battery (48V 18Ah, 864 Wh) has 20% more energy than the GT20's (48V 15Ah, 720 Wh). The GT20 advertises 60 to 80 km and delivers about 40 km in real life; the V40 Pro advertises 60 km and owners report about 50 km, with one report of 60 km on flat ground. For a job 20 km from home, the GT20 makes the round trip at its limit and the V40 Pro with room to spare. On both, the battery comes out of the bike and charges from a regular outlet, with a bivolt charger.
Round 3: Technology and comfort
Winner: Tie
Both start with an NFC card, and have an alarm with remote and turn signals. The V40 Pro has a front wheel lock with a key; the GT20 has a Bluetooth speaker. Both have wide tires, shocks front and rear and hydraulic brakes on both wheels. People who tested both usually find the V40 Pro softer, especially the seat.
Round 4: Weight and passenger
Winner: V40 Pro
Both carry 150 kg, counting you, your backpack and your passenger, and have a long seat for two people. The V40 Pro already comes with a footrest for the passenger. And height: the V40 Pro is recommended from 1.55 m (5'1"); the GT20 spec sheet says 1.63 m (5'4"), and Ouxi's table shows that at the lower heights, both feet don't fully reach the ground. Anyone under 1.70 m (5'7") should look at this round carefully.
Round 5: Price and warranty
Winner: Ouxi GT20
The dark orange GT20 cost R$ 6,299, its lowest price in almost a month; the black and gray ones were about R$ 300 higher. The V40 Pro cost R$ 6,750, the lowest in three weeks. The GT20 still takes the warranty: 1 year on the whole bike and a battery replacement if it drops below 70% in the first year, against the V40 Pro's 90-day factory warranty, though it has Inow support in Brazil.
Verdict
For about R$ 450 more, the V40 Pro delivers the bigger battery, the softer seat, the lower minimum height and the support of a Brazilian brand. The GT20 is the pick for people who prefer to keep that money, want punch off the line and a 1-year warranty, and are taller than 1.70 m (5'7"). If your route is more than about 20 km a day or you are shorter, the V40 Pro tends to serve you better.
